FAQ

What's the dress code? We're mostly business casual, but feel free to wear whatever represents you. Just look nice.

Is this a networking event? Yes, but not the kind you’re used to. This isn’t about sales pitches or awkward handshakes. It’s a mix of playful activities, thought-provoking conversations, and meaningful connections.

Do I have to be an entrepreneur or professional to attend? Nope! People of Progress brings together artists, investors, professionals, entrepreneurs, and dreamers. If you have a growth mindset and curiosity, you belong here.

I’m shy/introverted — will I feel out of place? Not at all. We have event ambassadors who make sure everyone feels included and has fun at their own comfort level. Our icebreakers and conversation prompts are designed to get people to chill out and remove any stuffiness or awkwardness.

Do I need to prepare anything? No, just bring your curiosity and a willingness to connect. If you’d like, think of one Ask (something you’re seeking) and one Offer (something you can give) to share on our Ask & Offer Wall.

What happens if I come alone? You’ll fit right in. Most people attend solo, and our format makes it easy to meet new friends.

Are food or drinks included? There's a welcome drink included and food is available at the venue for an additional fee.

Is this a pitch night or mastermind group? Neither. This is a social-growth community. No hard selling, no cliques — just fun, friends, and personal growth.

What if I don’t get value? If you don’t have a good time or leave with at least one new connection or insight, tell us and we’ll refund your ticket.
