People and Dancefloors: Narratives of Drug-taking from the UK and Malta - Screening and Panel

Through on-camera, face-to-face interviews, audio interviews, and written contributions, the documentary explores the relationship between dancefloors, pleasure, risks, and drug use. In 2021, the People and Dancefloors project expanded to Malta. Participants from Malta were invited to anonymously share their ideas and experiences about the intersections between drugs and dancefloors. Findings from this research will be presented for the first time at the University of Malta. A panel discussion focusing on harm reduction in nightlife spaces will follow.
