Penultimate Semiquincentennial All-American Picnic

Celebrate Independence Day weekend with the City of Oakland Park at the Penultimate Semiquincentennial All-American Picnic, a special Americana-style community celebration leading up to America’s 250th birthday.
Join us on Friday, July 3, 2026, from 4 to 7 p.m. at City Centennial Park for an evening of patriotic spirit, community connection, family-friendly activities, and a special milestone for Oakland Park.
Ceremony Begins at 4 p.m.
The event will begin with the Oakland Park Library Ribbon Cutting Ceremony at 4 p.m. Guests are invited to celebrate this exciting community milestone and take part in the opening ceremony.
Library Tours
Following the ceremony, guests can take a tour of the new Oakland Park Library facility and explore the new space.
Birthday Celebration
Celebrate the City of Oakland Park’s 97th birthday and America’s 250th birthday as part of this special Americana event.
