Pentecost Praise with Liverpool Cathedral

We look forward to welcoming you at the Cathedral as we sing, dance and learn about Pentecost.

Information:

• The invite is for *one class (approx. 30 pupils) from Key Stage 2 (years 3-6).
• We ask each school to create a banner resembling Pentecost – fire/holy spirit etc. and to bring this on the day to parade in the cathedral. It's a wonderful way for the class to start thinking about Pentecost.
• We encourage schools to wear a colour of light/flame (red/yellow/orange) and this may be a ribbon, t-shirt or a flame hat (image of suggested hats below for guidance)
• A song list will be sent to you for pupils to rehearse.
• A risk assessment from the cathedral will be forwarded to you.
• Please arrange your own transport – drop off 1pm & pick up 2.35pm.
• The event is free but we ask you to consider fundraising for The Children's Society. One small money box will be sent to each participating class to fill with change. The children will be able to see the box as it fills up over the weeks ahead of the event. We ask you to count the change and bring a cheque with you on the day for the amount raised. Cheques are made payable to The Children’s Society.
