Looking for an opportunity to serve your community? Penn State Indiana Alumni, family, and friends do just that!We Are....Serving Our Community! Looking for Nittany Lion volunteers to help out at Gleaners Food Bank on Oct 19th. Here are the details:

Attire: wear comfortable work-clothing, closed-toe shoes (sneakers, boots, etc.) are required when volunteering
After you sign-up, more information will be sent closer to the volunteer date in October.

Volunteers will be loading cars, directing traffic, and bagging bulk food items for our food pantry drive-thru distribution
This project is indoors, with some positions outdoors directing traffic. The garage doors will be open on both ends of the building so the chute will be warmer in the summer and colder in the winter. Please dress for the weather.
This project does require repetitive light lifting (think loading your groceries in the car) and bending, but some accommodations can be made. Please let us know prior to signing up or when you arrive if you need light-duty accommodations.
