About this Event
Welcome to the Penn Science Policy Symposium!
The Penn Science Policy & Diplomacy Group Annual Symposium 2026 brings together students, researchers, clinicians, policymakers, and industry leaders to explore the ethical challenges posed by rapidly advancing technologies.
Centered on the theme Bioethics & Future Technology, the symposium will examine how innovations in artificial intelligence, biotechnology, and medicine are reshaping society—and what ethical and policy frameworks are needed to ensure these technologies are developed and deployed responsibly. Through keynote talks, expert panels, and interdisciplinary discussion, the event will address questions of accountability, equity, human agency, and global impact.
Join us on February 27, 2026, for a full day of dialogue and engagement at the intersection of science, ethics, and public policy.
