About the event
Pen & Wash - Places & Architecture (Approx. 3 Hours)
In this workshop we’ll be exploring pen and wash sketching, focusing on buildings, streets, and places that hold meaning for you. It could be your home, your street, your front door, the place you got married, or even a favourite holiday spot. I’ll guide you through a demonstration on how to take a simple photo and transform it into a lively line-and-wash illustration—sketchy in style, painted with watercolour, and full of character. Bring along a photo of a place that matters to you, and together we’ll work step by step to create a finished painting, which we’ll mount so it’s ready to display or gift to someone special.
All materials will be provided, so just bring yourself. We'll take a short refreshment break midway through. Feel free to bring your own lunch, or treat yourself at the lovely on-site café
