About this Event

The event is hosted by West Midlands Angling Academy

You have perhaps attended some of our Let's Fish introductory events or maybe you already fish with friends or family, if so, this event is ideal for you. You will need to bring your own fishing equipment and bait and obtain an Environment Agency rod licence in advance if you are aged 13 or over. Some help and support will be available from our Let's Fish coaches on the day and parents can offer limited assistance. This is one of 34 events spread across 8 regions of the country. It has both a National individual element which has voucher prizes from Daiwa and a regional team element which results in a grand final event for winners, to be held on 17th April 2027. What 3 Words:

Who is this event for?

This regional celebration is ideal for any young person aged 6-20, who has been fishing a few times and is keen to learn more. This is ideal preparation for the Let's Fish National Celebration of Young People and Fishing, supported by Guru Tackle

Cost of Event

The cost for each participant is £6.00 plus booking fee and every participant will receive a £5 voucher from Angling Direct

However, if you have booked on and are subsequently unable to attend before the draw then please cancel your ticket.

You must cancel using one of these two mechanisms:

• 1 The preferred method is via the Eventbrite ticket booking system using the link that you can find on your ticket. This can be found at the bottom of your ticket and has a link directly to “cancel my ticket”.

• 2 By email [email protected] giving details of date, venue and participants in your email message.

We ask for your co-operation in this matter. This will allow others who would otherwise have regrettably missed out due to lack of available fishing pegs, it will give the opportunity to those on the reserve list to attend this event.
