As Peer Recovery Specialists, we understand that you are often on the front lines, navigating the complex systems of care alongside those you serve. While your work is incredibly rewarding, it also highlights the real-world barriers and service gaps that our community faces every day.We invite all Certified Peer Recovery Specialists, and those actively working towards their hours, who are serving the localities of Frederick, Page, Shenandoah and Warren Counties to a Peer Recovery Roundtable discussion.
Why attend?
* Identify Barriers: Discuss the specific hurdles (transportation, housing, stigma) making recovery difficult right now
* Resource Sharing: Update each other on local services that are actually currently available and effective
* Needs Assessment: Collective brainstorming on what new resources or support systems our area needs most
* Connection: Build a stronger network of peers to prevent burnout and increase our collective impact
The goal is simple: to get the peers in our area into one room to share what we’re seeing, what’s working, and where our community is falling short.
