Peer Gathering 2026- Small and Mighty
About this Event
Who we are
Small Powerful Groups is a warm, women-led community for people with ideas, creativity and ambition who want company on the journey. We believe big things happen in small groups. Our groups are places to encourage each other, try new things, share ideas and keep each other accountable, whether you want to follow a passion, make something, or grow an income.
You don't need a business plan, a set of skills or a bucket of confidence to join. You just need to turn up.
Our community began within WEvolution, the Glasgow charity that spent 15 years building spaces where women could find their collective power. WEvolution closed in January 2026, and its spirit lives on in a community now facilitated by our Leadership Collective, women from within the community itself. We meet online and in person, and we're always glad of new faces.
What is the Peer Gathering?
It's our big get-together of the year, when the whole community comes into one room. This year's theme is Small and Mighty: a celebration of what small groups can do when people show up for each other.
What to expect
- Workshops to learn, share and get your ideas moving
- Guest speakers to inspire and spark conversation
- Lunch and nibbles, because the best conversations happen over food
- A marketplace to discover and support the makers and creators in our community
- Plenty of time to chat, connect and meet your people
- A creche to look after your children while you enjoy the program.
Who it's for
Current members, curious newcomers, and anyone who's ever thought, "I'd love to do something, I just don't know where to start." Come on your own or bring a friend.
Good to know
- It's a free event, so please reserve your ticket so we can plan the food
