This full-day intensive seminar was developed exclusively for nurses, respiratory professionals and critical care paramedics by international peds nurse expert Scott DeBoer. We’ve combined the best of Scott's long-running “Treating Tiny Trauma” and “Crashing Kids” programs to bring you this all new, fast-paced pediatric emergencies course that will build on your pediatric knowledge and skills. Also incorporated just for this event... "Landmark Pediatric Lawsuits and Lessons Learned" to help you cover your assets!

EVENT DESCRIPTION

Emergency medical professionals and trauma junkies alike... this class will use “real-life” scenarios you can apply to your pediatric care/knowledge and put into practice immediately. Includes a down-to-earth practical review of advanced airway management, head and spinal cord trauma, chest and abdominal trauma, burns, extremity trauma, resuscitation, respiratory emergencies, near drowning, emergency toxicology, pain management, and sedation. Additionally the instructor, Scott DeBoer, will include his unique expert witness insights from actual closed medical malpractice cases to help you identify the key principles in avoiding, or at least surviving, a peds medical malpractice suit!
