Peacock Project Fundraiser Fashion Show
Schedule
Sat Jul 11 2026 at 06:00 pm to 07:00 pm
UTC+01:00Location
Farfield Hall | Hawarden, WA
Peacock Project is an up and coming Community Interest Company (CIC) aimed at supporting women who have escaped domestic abuse and are on their way to creating a new life.
How are women expected to move on and enter new workplaces, meet new schools and even appear in family court with no suitable outfits.
Enclothed cognition is a term used to describe the psychology of dressing well and confidently - there is an abundance of evidence to prove that if one dresses in an outfit they feel confident in and look good in - they will have a more positive outcome.
If you have had to flee with nothing but what you stand up in - how do you build that capsule wardrobe?
Peacock Project will provide outfits and styling to women so they can feel confident in everyday dressing. I can style your already loved items and even give them a second life.
This fashion event is to showcase some of the beautiful outfits that have been donated and acquired already. It promises glamour and empowerment.
There will be catwalk shows, burlesque performers, spoken word from survivors, poets and singers. There will be an auction and raffle with plenty of amazing prizes to be won. All in a cosy but beautiful location.
There is plenty of parking at the location. Also easy to get to using public transport.
Tickets are £10.00 - book via Paypal / Bank transfer - Tickets can be sent via email, posted or even pick up on the night.
