Robberies have surged by 36%, and aggravated assaults climbed 20%. This statistic should make potential homebuyers think twice.

As Dr. Thaddeus Johnson, criminology professor at Georgia State University, points out, “The increase in these violent confrontations is concerning and could impact perceptions of safety in neighborhoods.”
