Peach Menu and Michael Manring solo

Another menu celebrating the heriloom peaches and nectarines from our long time friends, the Masumoto Family Farm.

And old friend, Michael Manring, one of the worlds most brilliant electric guitar players performs solo for his annual appearance in my loft.

First course: Black eyed pea fritters with peach chutney, peach kuchela and peach hot sauce.

Second course: Peach Som Tom: Treating peaches as if they are a Thai ingredient as we make the famous green papaya salad out of papaya and ripe and unripe peaches, garnished with peanuts, sesame, garlic, chili and flavored with lime, tamarind and soy sauce.

Third course: Southern Fried Tempeh (homemade fava/basmati tempeh) in peach barbecue sauce, roasted corn salad, stewed collards, cornbread, cucumber salad.

Concert: Michael Manring electric bass guitar

Dessert: Peach Polenta Cake, Cherry-berry sauce, peach ice cream (cashew based)
