The Council of Christians & Muslims invite you to our ninth annual Peacenic - a picnic for peace.Summer 2026 is just underway!
Enjoy an afternoon picnic with us at the Arthur Faulkner Reserve in Mt Roskill (close to the shade trees, playground, skate park, sports fields, basketball court and more!)

(Parking and entry from Foch Ave or Hazel Ave, gather near the hall)

What to bring:
Bring your favourite tea, and anything else you like to take or share on an afternoon tea picnic. If bringing food to share, halal, kosher, vegan or vegetarian is best.
Who:
Everyone is welcome at this family event.
We welcome people from all of the Abrahamic faiths to join us - Muslims, Christians and Jews and more.
When it comes to building relationships in our community, it doesn't get much more grass-roots than sharing food and conversation during an afternoon at the annual Peacenic.
