Mark your calendars for a fun springtime gathering and fundraiser at Peace Tree Brewing Co. in Des Moines’ East Village on May 3. Peace Tree will donate $1 for every item sold between 4 and 7 pm on that date. Please join us for happy hour and help us raise funds to match young central Iowa students with mentors. Remember, Power Read is free of charge to both schools and our students’ families, so every dollar counts.
