WHAT IS A PEACE POLE?
A Peace Pole is a monument that displays the message "May Peace Prevail on Earth" in multiple languages. It's part of a global movement that promotes peace, unity, and hope across cultures and communities. Over 250,000
Peace Poles have been planted in nearly every country around the world!
"MAY PEACE PREVAIL ON EARTH"
Masahisa Goi (1916-1980), deeply moved by the devastation of World War II and the atomic bombings of Hiroshima and Nagasaki, introduced the message "May Peace Prevail on Earth" in 1955. This simple yet powerful phrase became a global symbol of hope and unity.
