PDDUK’s Alpine adventure to the Swiss Alps 🇨đź‡30th June – 5th July 2025
Join the PDDUK gang for an unforgettable road trip across the Swiss Alps!
It’s time to hit the road and dive into the nitty-gritty driving tours that fuel our passion. While we enjoy the steady-paced European tours with luxury hotels, nothing beats a good old-fashioned road trip where we get serious driving time behind the wheel. With sunset drives and early morning starts, this hardcore driving adventure promises to be one you’ll never forget.
Forget daily spa comforts—your reward at the end of each day will be an ice-cold beer, a hearty meal, and a comfortable bed to rest your head.
Monday, 30th June
The tour kicks off in Stuttgart, Germany, the home of Porsche engineering.
Your first night will be at the V8 Hotel, a haven for car enthusiasts.
In the evening, you’ll meet your fellow tour members during the welcome meal.
Tuesday, 1st July
Rise and shine—it’s time to get this show on the road!
The day begins with a visit to the Porsche Museum for a guided tour, where you’ll dive deep into Porsche’s rich history and engineering legacy.
After lunch, we hit the road, heading 250 miles to the Italian border via Austria. Experience the thrill of the autobahn, regroup with the convoy in Austria, and soak in the stunning alpine scenery along the way.
We’ll finish the day with a sunset drive over the legendary Stelvio Pass. Tonight’s stay is at a 4-star hotel in Bormio, located at the southern tip of the Stelvio National Park.
Wednesday, 2nd July
Wake up in the heart of the Italian mountains—another epic day lies ahead!
With over six hours of driving and more than 200 miles to cover, you’ll tackle some of the most iconic alpine passes, including Bernina Pass, Burgun Pass, Julier Pass, Oberalp Pass, and Furka Pass.
We’ll visit Switzerland’s largest toboggan run and enjoy lunch at a mountaintop restaurant with breathtaking views. Later, we’ll drive the legendary James Bond Goldfinger Furka Pass and stop for photos at the iconic Hotel Belvedere.
For the next two nights, we’ll stay at one of our favorite alpine hotels. It’s simple yet cozy, with great food, refreshing beer, clean rooms, and an unbeatable location—right in the middle of the Alps, with the best driving roads at your doorstep.
Thursday, 3rd July
Still with us? Good—because the adventure isn’t over yet!
Today, you’ll cover even more epic passes and enjoy some thrilling activities along the way. Highlights include Tremola Pass, Susten Pass, Grimsel Pass, Gotthard Pass, and Nufenen Pass.
This will be a driving experience to remember forever.
Friday, 4th July
The final full day begins with a visit to Château Constellation for a wine tour and tasting, followed by a delicious lunch.
Afterward, we head west to tackle the tour’s grand finale: The Great St. Bernard Pass, saving the best for last.
To celebrate the end of the journey, we’ll spend the night at a luxurious spa hotel just outside the Aosta Valley, offering stunning views of Mont Blanc. Relax, unwind, and enjoy an exquisite Italian dinner with the group. The hotel’s excellent spa facilities are available for you to enjoy the following morning.
