- Leaders, Helpers and Volunteers involved in youth and children's ministry.
This training is essential for everyone, even if you already hold professional safeguarding qualifications (e.g., as a teacher, nurse, police officer, or social worker). PCI operates under its own safeguarding policies and procedures, making this church-specific training a mandatory requirement for your role.
Safeguarding training is required every three years. If you have already completed your training and your renewal is not yet due, please consider making space for others within your congregation or Presbytery who have never attended. This helps ensure that as many people as possible can access training and that every church has suitably equipped volunteers and leaders.
You must inform your church's Designated Person that you are have attended this training, as it is their responsibility to record and manage these records.
