PCCS Pre-Conference: End of Life Care & Advanced Communications in PICU

Key Aims/Learning objectives:

1. This is a whole day workshop on end-of-life care in PICU.

2. With case examples and simulation workshop with professional actors for communication scenarios, we aim to provide close to real life experience for participants who are keen to learn about end-of-life care in PICU.

3. This workshop provides participants with knowledge and skills to facilitate end-of-life care in PICU which includes reorientation of care, symptom management, withdrawal of life support, neurological death testing, organ donation, and processes involved in managing death of a child in PICU.

Anyone involved in managing end-of-life care in PICU.
