PBS North Carolina's Black Issues Forum celebrates HBCU Week Now with a special screening featuring NASCAR driver Rajah Caruth and a conversation and Q+A about the motorsports management program at Winston-Salem State University
Students, staff, faculty, alumni and community members are invited to join PBS North Carolina's Black Issues Forum as we celebrate HBCU Week Now with a special event at Winston-Salem State University highlighting students and their motorsports management program on Tuesday, October 8, at 6 PM at Cleon F. Thompson Student Services Center.
This special evening begins with a reception and networking opportunity; heavy hors d'oeuvres, pizza and beverages will be served. Chancellor Brown will kick off the program with welcome remarks followed by Deborah Holt Noel, executive producer of Black Issues Forum and host of North Carolina Weekend. After the screening featuring Rajah Caruth, Kenia Thompson, host of PBS NC's Black Issues Forum, will lead a conversation with Dr. Clay Harshaw, assistant professor and coordinator of the motorsports management program and current students majoring in the motorsports program.
