PBK Boston Annual Meeting

All members of the Phi Beta Kappa Association of Boston (aka PBK Boston) are invited to the PBK Boston Monthly Mingle which will include the 2026 Annual Meeting, to be held at The Foundry in Cambridge, MA.

When:

The gathering will be on Sunday, June 14nd, 2026, from 2 to 3 pm at the Foundry in the Yellow Room, then at Toscanini’s afterwards.

Where:

The Foundry (https://www.cambridgefoundry.org/ ) at 101 Rogers Street, Suite 2C, in Cambridge, MA 02142, followed by socializing at Toscanini’s Ice Cream at 159 First Street, 2 blocks away.

What:

This will be an opportunity to meet other PBK Boston members and to consider becoming more involved in our unique organization, as well as to network and socialize.

The Bylaws of the Boston Association of Phi Beta Kappa require an Annual Meeting with Board officers elected annually by majority vote of the members present at the Annual Meeting.

We will review our bylaws, elect the new Board, and discuss future events and scholarship fundraisers. (We give an annual scholarship open to juniors and seniors at eleven local universities with PBK chapters). We will also consider ideas and suggestions which further support our purpose, “the union of the members of Phi Beta Kappa in the greater Boston region to promote scholarship, friendship, and cultural interests.”The Board will distribute to the membership in advance of the Annual Meeting a slate of candidates, per the Bylaws, for the offices of president, secretary, treasurer. The positions for managing activities and development will be open for volunteers at the meeting.
