Paying the Dues: Tap Dance Concert

Join us at 7:00PM at Decidedly Jazz Danceworks' Theatre for the Calgary debut of our new work, Paying the Dues!

'Paying the Dues' is a new work inspired by a quote from the Legendary Dianne Walker, "your rent is due on the first of the month." This material represents the commonalities of the human experience through the mediums of both movement and sound. We explore what it means to earn your place both as a tap dancer and person in society. Time stands still for no one, and we must continue to push forward regardless of fear or financial constraints.

Jordyn has united dancers from across three provinces to continue expanding the community, and provide opportunities to talented artists. Cast list includes:
