Join scholarships advisor Becca Lippman for three interactive workshops that teach students and parents how to find, apply for, and manage scholarships. For grades 9-12. Pre-register to receive a reminder email.
Workshop 1
Starting with a break-down of The Complex Landscape of Scholarships for College, Becca demystifies the complex networks and application processes related to scholarships and introduces an approach towards navigating merit and community-based scholarships.
Workshop 2
In Finding Scholarships that Fit, Becca walks participants through the development of 10-25 customized search terms for getting the most out of personalized internet searches. Attendees will walk away with a better sense of how public institutions, private donors, and large organizations advertise scholarship opportunities.
Workshop 3
The final workshop, Developing Unique Essays, participants learn to analyze and identify up to 5 typical varieties of the scholarship essay and walk away with a clear sense of the most relevant content, details, and facts that must be incorporated into strong application materials.
