Getting paid for the first time can be exciting and confusing. Why is your paycheck less than expected? What are taxes for? And what do benefits actually mean?

This in-person Power Hour helps you understand how paychecks, taxes, and basic benefits work in a clear, practical way. We focus on real examples so you can feel confident understanding your earnings and asking smart questions at work.

During this session, you will:

• Learn how paychecks and take-home pay work
• Understand basic taxes and common deductions
• Learn what benefits are and why they matter
• Know what questions to ask when starting a job
• Build confidence understanding your compensation
