About this Event
Join us for a special educational event for teens:
- Wednesday February 18th, 10 am - 12 pm
- PawsAbility: 1510 Gates Ave. 2nd Floor (Bushwick) Brooklyn, NY 11237
- $5 a ticket per teen 14+
- This is a drop off event
This unique, hands-on experience invites teens to explore animal care in a supportive and engaging environment.
Designed for youth ages 14 and older, participants will interact with multiple dogs while learning about real-world pet care careers.
Possible activities include an overview of different pet care career paths, an educational activity focused on dog breeds, guided interaction with PawsAbility’s dogs, and a grooming demonstration. Students should feel comfortable around multiple dogs, including loud barking and typical dog smells.
Group size is limited to 10 total visitors.
To wrap up the visit, pizza will be provided for participants to enjoy together.
