Join our first annual Kzoo Cat Cafe and Rescue Summer Reading Program, Paws and Pages! A fun reading adventure designed to spark the love for books in children while fostering a special bond with our feline friends! Join us this summer for kids to dive into captivating stories alongside adorable cats, creating cherished memories, for a great cause!Paws & Pages aims to promote literacy among children in a fun and engaging way, while also providing a nurturing environment for shelter cats. By pairing the joy of reading with the calming presence of cats, we aim to inspire a lifelong love for books and compassion for animals.
- Read with Cats: Children are invited to cozy up with a book at the cat cafe, surrounded by friendly and curious rescue kitties! Whether it's a beloved classic or a new adventure, every story becomes more magical with a furry friend by your side.
- Parent Relaxation Zone: While the kids immerse themselves in the world of books, parents can unwind and enjoy a cup of coffee or a cold drink. It's the perfect opportunity to recharge while your little ones embark on their reading journey.
- Rewards and Incentives: As a token of appreciation for their reading efforts, participating children will earn colorful kitty stickers for each visit! Additionally, upon completion, they'll receive an exclusive Paws & Pages (limited edition Kzoo Cat Cafe and Rescue Summer Reading Program 2024) t-shirt, proudly showcasing their love for reading and cats!
How to Participate:
- Register your child for the program. Each child membership is $50 and includes unlimited "Quiet Hours" visits (Mon-Thurs, 3-4pm) WITH a grown up ($10 normal summer weekday entry fee) - https://fareharbor.com/embeds/book/kzoocatcafe/items/546830/?full-items=yes&flow=1069526
- Select a book from our curated collection or bring your own favorite, snuggle up with a furry friend and start reading!
- Collect stickers for each visit and celebrate your reading achievements.
