Welcome adventurers, world travelers, tiki enthusiasts one and all!Bring your binoculars, adventure hats, maps, compasses, satchels and gear up for this special event brought to you by Chief Brody, benefiting It's The Pits Dog Rescue.
Advocating the practice of “Adopt and Explore”, the goal for this adventure is to create strong bonds and memories with our furry family members. They are more than just dogs. Exploring the world can be a scary place and having a confident handler by their side not only creates a strong bond, but builds confidence in your pup as well, so let's make it count and go on an adventure!!
$5 From Every RSVP Ticket will be donated back to It's the Pits Rescue
There will be a pack walk starting at 4pm, with a paddle session following after at 5:30PM. Your RSVP Ticket will cover both. You have the option to attend both activities or just one. Please make sure to arrive on time.
Schedule
4:00PM: Meet at SUP Pups to start Pack Walk located behind the Courtyard Marriott Hotel.
Rules for pack walk:
No retractable or bungee leashes.
Max 6ft leash/lead.
Keep dog on leash at all times.
Maintain distance for possible nervous dogs.
Bring water/poop bags/treats and whatever else you need for a comfortable and fun pack walk!
5:00PM: Return to SUP Pups to get prepared to paddle

Get life Jackets on
Use the restrooms and put belongings away
5:15pm: Get ready to paddle & Start to depart
Never paddle boarded before? That's ok! You are able to learn the basics, safety and technique of paddle boarding while learning the best way to introduce your dog to the board. While out on the water, Owner Sam of SUP Pups will be out there helping you with tips and tricks as well as capturing it all for you from her camera.
6:00PM: Come back to shore
Enjoy complimentary snacks, drinks, bonfire and s'mores!
6:30PM: Call Opportunity Drawing Winners!
All Humans & Dogs are Welcome
Dogs must be on leash at all times and you are 100% responsible for their actions.
Children 17 and under must be accompanied by adult out on the water.

Please be Cautious! - Sharp Rocks & Oysters surround waterway. If you listen to our instructions you will be safe. Please do not let dog off leash on beach.The sandy beach is open to the public so be mindful of others.
There are bathrooms located nearby in NTC Park.
Free parking near the park that you will see on Farragut Street or in front of hotel.
What to Bring:
Towel and/or chair
Bag for personal belongings
Flat Leash for Dog if possible (NO Retractable leashes please)
Dog treats if dog has allergies
SUP PUPS HAS LOCK BOX BY TENT TO SECURE YOUR VALUABLES WHILE WE ARE OUT ON THE WATER
