Join PAWA and the Magnuson Park Gallery for a day of painting Magnuson Park, as part of their Plein Air Views of Washington Festival
About this Event

Magnuson Park is the second-largest park in Seattle with over one mile of lakefront shoreline! On a clear day, Mt. Rainier can be seen across the lake!

PAWA is partnering with The Magnuson Park Gallery, a division of the Sand Point Arts & Cultural Exchange, to jury and present the 3rd Annual Plein Air Views of Washington Festival and Exhibition. The exhibition features artists from all over Washington state, who have come together to present and celebrate artworks in the Plein Air style.

As part of the Plein Air Festival, you are invited to participate in a paint out at Magnuson Park! PAWA is co-facilitating this one-day event, followed by a wet works display and gallery reception, with music and food to celebrate. You are welcome to invite your friends and collectors for the reception at no cost.

Cost: The gallery is offering a $10-30 sliding scale to join this paint out to make participation more accessible for the public. If the cost of participation is a hardship, contact the gallery manager to discuss scholarship opportunities. If you would like to make an additional contribution to provide scholarship for another participant, please contact the gallery manager. Payment is to be made to SPACE at https://www.spaceatmagnuson.org/paintout or payment can be made in person at check-in.

We look forward to seeing your creations from the day at the Wet Painting Display and look forward to you joining us for the reception!

This paint-out is for PAWA members and non-members so feel free to bring your friends to participate!
