Welcome to the Family Foundations Paving the Way Forward Economic Mobility Summit, where we embark on a journey to empower individuals and families with the tools, resources, and knowledge necessary to achieve self-empowerment, financial stability, and generational wealth. This multi-day summit will convene thought leaders, policymakers, business executives, philanthropists, community advocates, and financial partners from our community to explore innovative solutions, share best practices, showcase local business and community partners, and collaborate on actionable strategies to promote economic mobility and reduce inequality.
Against the backdrop of Jacksonville’s vibrant landscapes, our theme Harmony in the City services as a catalyst for fostering harmony and prosperity within our communities. The Family Foundation of Northeast Florida is dedicated to advancing prosperity and opportunity for all.

SUMMIT KEYNOTE SPEAKERS
Aimee Griffin, Founder/President, Association of Black Estate Planning Professionals, Inc.
Attorney Aimee Griffin is the Founder/President of the Association of Black Estate Planning Professionals, Inc., an organization committed to bridging the racial wealth gap through collaboration and capacity building of financial professionals and economic education. She is also the principal of The Griffin Firm, PLLC, serving Washington, D.C., Maryland, Pennsylvania, Virginia, and Massachusetts.
With core values of Faith Excellence, Relationships Service, and Trustworthiness, the Griffin Firm is committed to supporting the creation, protection, and transfer of wealth through Estate and Business Planning. Ms. Griffin serves on a number of boards, including the US Black Chambers, the National African American Insurance Association Foundation, as well as the Commission on Social Action and Legal Ministry for Kingdom Fellowship AME Church.
She is committed to supporting community growth through education and speaks regularly in national, regional, and local forums to educate other attorneys and the community. Aimee is a monthly contributor to the Washington Informer and strongly believes “when we know better, we can do better.”
Hermond Palmer, Vice President of Outreach & Inclusion, National Foundation for Credit Counseling (NFCC)
As the Vice President of Outreach & Inclusion for the National Foundation for Credit Counseling, Hermond Palmer leads the Envisioning Homeownership effort, the NFCC Faith-Based Alliance, Enterprise Counseling Services, and multicultural engagement for the NFCC. Hermond has led marketing, business development, and multicultural engagement programs for American Express, Pepsi-Cola, and Fannie Mae. He earned his MBA from the Wharton School of Business, and his bachelor’s in economics from the University of Pennsylvania.
