About this Event
Join the staff of Gotham Whale on a Benefit Whale Watch in honor of our visionary founder Paul L. Sieswerda aboard the Jersey Girl, sailing from Belmar Marina. All proceeds will benefit whale research, education, and conservation around NYC, and help Gotham Whale build a sustainable future.
Hear testimonials from Gotham Whale's Executive Director, Zack Klyver, and Paul’s son PJ in honor of Paul. Naturalist and Research Director for Gotham Whale Danielle Brown will provide excellent information about the whales and the conservations issues that they face. We will be watching humpback whales and looking for dolphins, seals, seabirds, and other marine life.
Entry includes a yearlong membership to Gotham Whale. Also enjoy a 50/50 raffle and fun giveaways. Gotham Whale Merchandise will be available to purchase as will food and drinks at the galley.
The trip will last approximately three hours, from 8:30 to 11:30 AM.
After the whale watch, walk next door to Jack's Tavern (703 10th Ave, Belmar, NJ) for lunch (purchased from the menu) and celebrate with the crew from Gotham Whale. There will be whale games, giveaways, and Gotham Whale merchandise to purchase.
