50th Anniversary Ruby Port Band, 70s Sensation Wave, International Star Ron Seggi, and a Blues Beater Duo BB2 unite with Masters of Ceremonies Mike Ruzzi and Lou Baxter in a once in a lifetime performance to celebrate the memory of Erie music icon, Paul Yoculan, Sr.
All attendees receive a free chance to win one of two trips to Fabulous Las Vegas! Additional raffle tickets are available for $10/each.
Outside food and beverages are welcome. (BYOB!) Food will also be available for purchase by Clark Lane Catering.
Casual, semi-formal, and formal attire are all welcome. Come ready to dance the night away, or just sit back and enjoy the entertainment.
Paul, a member of the accomplished 60s groups the Epics and the Younger Brothers, performed with some of the biggest names in the business. His personal friends included the Beatles, The Young Rascals, Joey Dee, Frank Sinatra, and countless others. Signed to the Warner Brothers record label, Paul appeared on many recordings, performed on major stages from New York to Hollywood, and even performed for President John F. Kennedy.
One of the performances that Paul found the most pride in, however, was the time he spent as an endeared member of the Mercyhurst Prep Baseball coaching staff. Proceeds from this event will benefit the Paul Yoculan, Sr. Memorial Scholarship Fund at Mercyhurst Prep. Once developed, the scholarship will fund an annual award to a deserving student as a lasting reminder of Paul's love, kindness and giving spirit.
