Thursday, September 1, 6:30-8pm: Pianist Paul Safar will be playing the fourth of a series of First Thursdays at Tsunami Books in Eugene, Oregon. Joining Paul will be Rob Tobias. Rob is a contemporary singer/songwriter Influenced by folk, blues, rock, reggae, jazz and pop music. Both Paul and Rob will do a few solo numbers, singing and playing the TSUNAMI BABY GRAND PIANO. They will also sing and play together (adding in acoustic guitar, melodica and harmonica) on their originals as well as some Beatles covers. From the photos, you can see that Rob and Paul have played together on and off for many years ?. Hope you can make it down.
