Paul Henry's Art Gallery is pleased to host Thomas Matecki and his Jazz Combo once again! Matecki, on flute, piano and synth will be joined by Di'Kobie Berry on vibes, George Furgye Sr. on drums and Bob Gloppen on bass. The second set will be played by David Vicari Piano/Vocals.
Matecki's host group will resume for the third set with additional guest Instrumentalists and vocalists.
We have adopted a concert format for this event in order to give our audience a premier performance through the show. Those performers who would like to sit in with the group for the third set are urged to contact Matecki. This will allow the band and guest performers to familiarize their music with each other. We recognize that the "jam" format was popular, but we are confident that this will be an upgrade in the show.
We are determined to offer a stage for various performers and our audiences that consistently brings everyone a high quality experience.
Because of lingering concern from the pandemic we will have masks available here if you wish to wear one. We will not be encouraging an open potluck because of the same health concerns. You are allowed to bring snacks to share but they must be individually pre-packaged single servings. Courtesy bottled water and coffee will be available. Park in the lot on the east side of the gallery with an entrance on Sibley or in the lot across Sibley from the gallery. Enter the shop through the large old green back door or the front door. Paul Henry's Art Gallery, 416 Sibley, Hammond, IN. Parking available on the east side of the gallery (entrance on Sibley) and across Sibley in the gravel lot.
Entry charge for the event is $15 per person.
