In this hands-on workshop, you’ll learn how to translate 3D body measurements into precise 2D paper patterns tailored to a custom fit.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Take Accurate Body Measurements: Learn professional measurement techniques essential for drafting properly fitting garments.
• Draft Custom Slopers: Walk through the step-by-step drafting process to create your own basic bodice and skirt blocks (slopers) from scratch.
• Master Pattern Mechanics: Understand core principles like ease, dart manipulation, grainlines, notches, and adding proper seam allowances.
• Design Manipulations: Watch live demonstrations on modifying a basic sloper into creative design variations—such as adding sleeves, flares, or necklines.
