Pattern Sewing with Mel

In this class we will be using a pre-printed PDF garment pattern of your choice. We will also have an example pattern you can follow. Mel will be teaching you how to take mesurements and detemining the size on a pattern chart, determining the amount and kind of fabric and notions needed. Along with how to layout and cut your pattern pieces.

You will need a pre-printed and assembled paper pattern, an adequate amount of fabric, any bias or other notions you might need, along with fabric shears.

NOTE: Reduced price members tickets are for folks with a monthly or yearly subscription membership to the 757 Creative ReUse Center. If you'd like to start your membership online, click here. You can also start your membership in store. If you do not have a subscription membership, please choose the general admission ticket. If you reserve a reduced ticket without a membership, your reservation will be canceled, or you will be asked to pay the difference in ticket price when you come in for class.

We all put a lot of time and effort into creating these classes for you and cultivating an enjoyable and fun learning experience. With that in mind these classes are most suited for groups so we encurange you to register with a friend, or a few! A class minimum of 2 is required. Any classes with only one registered participant will be cancled 24-hours before the class. Refunds will be issued and you will be contacted by email and phone.

Please include a phone number along with your email, so we have your contact information in the event a class must be rescheduled or cancled.

Folks who miss multiple classes without notice will be prevented from registering for future classes. If you are not able to attend a class you have registered for please call us and let us know.
