Join the Kalamazoo Symphony and the Arts Council of Greater Kalamazoo for a FREE concert to kick off the Fourth of July weekend in celebration of the USA’s 250th birthday!
Bring your lawn chairs and picnic blankets to enjoy a beautiful Michigan summer night filled with the sounds of the Kalamazoo Symphony. The night ends with a special drone show finale!
Presented as a part of the Arts Council of Greater Kalamazoo’s Summertime Live Series.
The concert will include music by John Philip Sousa, John Williams, Duke Ellington, Aaron Copland, and George Gershwin.
Parking: On-street parking is available all around the perimeter of the park. Additional parking is nearby at the South Street Parking Garage.
Food Trucks & Activities: There are eight different food trucks scheduled for the concert: Best Coast Provisions, Cousins Maine Lobster, Hall-n-Weenies, Kona Ice, Kurbside Food Truck, Tacos y Gorditas Santos, The Lab, and The Mobile Crave. Pop City Popcorn and face painting are also scheduled. Crawlspace Theatre will have mocktails and cocktails available.
Restrooms: Restrooms will be open in the Civic Theatre and the Crawlspace Theatre.
Rain Plan: There is no rain site for Patriotic Pops at Bronson Park. If inclement weather is expected, the concert may be canceled on that same day.
