Patriote de la Zone Presents: Building Blocks of Hope

Since 2001 Patriote de la Zone’s mission has been to promote a brighter, sustainable future for Haitian children and their families through education and community involvement. Our preK – 9th grade school, with an enrollment of over 550 students, provides the opportunity for children to learn how to read and write so that they might play an active role in Haiti’s future.

About this event

This fundraising event will support Patriote de la Zone’s effort to build a vocational training center outside of Jacmel, Haiti. This facility will provide a place and the resources for classes that will teach marketable vocational skills. Our first program will be a 2 year course that teaches sewing and fashion design that leads to national recognized certification in Sewing Degree. It is the next step in our commitment to providing tangible opportunities for the Haitian community we work with to improve their economic lives through self-reliance and personal effort.

This event will be a chance for you to learn about Patriote de la Zone and its efforts to make a difference in the lives of Haitian families through education. The event will be a fun evening with music, entertainment, raffles and an auction. All to raise monies for our new training center. Come and support an organization that has been promoting personal growth through education for more than 20 years.
