The Patriot’s Pen essay competition is open to all students in grades 6-8. “The 2024-25 theme is:
"My Voice in America's Democracy?" Each first place state winner receives a minimum of $500 at the national level, and the national first place winner wins $5,000! Typed essays are due to our post on Oct 31, 2024. More information online at https://www.vfw.org/VOD
Each level that an entry progresses through, will get a monetary award that increase as it passes to the next level up through VFW National level.
