With 6 GRAMMY® nominations and 18 Nā Hōkū Hanohano Awards, Amy Hānaialiʻi is nothing short of iconic. Her powerhouse vocals — rooted in classical training and alive with the spirit of her Native Hawaiian heritage — have moved audiences across the globe. She has performed for the Dalai Lama, graced two of President Obama’s inaugural balls, and made history as the first entertainer to perform in the Great Hall of the People in Tiananmen Square.
Amy has performed with and opened for renowned artists like Earth, Wind and Fire, Carlos Santana, Boz Scaggs, Diana Krall, Joe Cocker and many more – her upcoming release features a duet with Michael McDonald.
Nā Lei Hulu first shared the stage with Amy at the historic Castro Theatre in San Francisco and that magic never left us. We are humbled and honored to welcome her back to the Bay and to celebrate a Native Hawaiian artist of her extraordinary caliber.
