PATHWAYS TOWARD RESILIENCEPROGRAM DESCRIPTION: MORE THAN EVER, PROVIDERS ACROSS THE ONCOLOGY CARE COMMUNITY ARE SEEKING WAYS TO PROACTIVELY MANAGE STRESS, SET HEALTHY BOUNDARIES, AND COPE WITH COMPASSION FATIGUE. AS SUCH, WE WANT TO SHARE APPROACHES AND RESOURCES THAT CAN HELP OUR HEALTHCARE TEAMS ENHANCE PERSONAL RESILIENCE.
PROGRAM OBJECTIVES
After the program, participants should be able to
· Recognize factors that can lead to severe work-related stress, compassion fatigue, and burnout
· Understand the potential consequences of these challenges
· Define resilience—and explain how it can help sustain members of the oncology team
· Describe ways to nurture resilience
