This event provides advice for businesses on creating training and employment opportunities for SEND and NEET young people in Oxfordshire.
About this Event

The event aims to bridge the gap between major development projects and local employment and training initiatives. It will provide information and practical advice for how a business can collaborate with Oxfordshire learning providers and employment support services for young people (aged 16-24) who are NEET (Not in Education, Employment or Training) and young people with SEND (Special Educational Needs and Disabilities) in order to create invaluable work and training opportunities and fill gaps in the workforce.

This event is relevant for developers, planning consultants, contractors and hospitality industry professionals who are supporting Community Employment Plans and/or employment, skills training plans within Oxfordshire. The event aims to demonstrate how employers can collaborate with training providers and employment support services to support NEET and SEND learners into employment.

There will be an opportunity to hear best practice and the business perspective from major Oxfordshire employers and learn more about the facilities at Oxford City Campus to support SEND learning.
