Pathways to Employment Opportunities is an interactive workshop designed to help participants explore career options, develop job-readiness skills, and successfully navigate today's employment landscape. Through guided activities and practical strategies, attendees will learn how to identify their strengths, align their skills with workforce needs, and access resources that support career growth.
Topics include career exploration, resume and cover letter development, job search techniques, networking strategies, interview preparation, and understanding employer expectations. Participants will also gain insight into, training programs, and professional development resources.
This workshop is ideal for job seekers, career changers, recent graduates, and individuals re-entering the workforce who want to build confidence, strengthen their employment prospects, and create a clear pathway toward meaningful and sustainable employment.
Presenters:
Temple University Human Resources Departments will be available to talk about employment opportunities at Temple.
Temple University's Lenfest Center for Community Workforce Partnerships will share information about workforce development training programs and resources available to jobseekers.
The Wardrobe will be facilitating a workshop and will provide clothing vouchers.
Hosted by Temple University's Lenfest Center for Community Workforce Partnerships in collaboration with Total Spark (Total Wireless and EmpowerWork).
Light refreshments will be provided.
