Join us at the iconic Lyric Opera of Chicago as we celebrate the inaugural graduates of Pathways to IT Careers™, an eight-week summer program created to introduce students to cybersecurity, strengthen their professional skills, and expand their vision of what is possible in technology.

The Closing Celebration & Tech Summit will recognize the students’ achievements, the growth they demonstrated throughout the program, and the community of instructors, mentors, partners, and supporters who helped make this experience possible.

The evening will also feature a panel discussion, Securing the Expanding Attack Surface, focused on how organizations are responding as cloud adoption, connected devices, artificial intelligence, third-party systems, and evolving digital environments create new cybersecurity risks. Chicagoland technology and security executives will share perspectives on emerging threats, enterprise resilience, identity protection, incident response, and the future of cybersecurity.

Featured panelists include Michael “MVP” Phillips, Director, Business Information Security Program Office Lead at AbbVie; Dean R. Cantave Sr., Deputy CIO of IT Operations for the Chicago Department of Innovation and Technology; Elizabeth Ogunti, retired Chief Information Security Officer; Kenneth Townsend, CISSP, Global CISO at Ingredion Incorporated; and Ramon Gonzales, eDiscovery and Forensic Investigations at CNA Insurance.

Guests will also enjoy a special performance by Windy Indie as we close an unforgettable summer and celebrate the future of our Pathways students.
