About this Event
The Pathways to Excellence Med Immersion Day is part of a larger . The goal of the Med Immersion Day is for medical students to build community amongst their peers from medical schools across the Philadelphia region and to gain insight and inspiration about what their journey in medical school and a career in academic medicine can look like. In this differentiated, immersive experience students will gain skills that set them up for success in medical school and beyond. We want to make sure Philadelphia has a diverse healthcare workforce with providers who understand the thriving culture of the city and its people.

Name That Sound! The Ultimate Physical Exam Sound Challenge: Think you know your physical exam? Put your ears to the test. In small groups, you’ll hear classic—and sometimes tricky—sounds from different parts of the body and compete to identify where they come from and what they mean. We’ll then break down the physiology and clinical significance behind each sound, from boards and beyond.
