SEND Pathways to Employment Event
This event welcomes young people and adults with SEND, their families/carers, and professionals who want to learn about pathways into supported employment. Families of younger children are also encouraged to attend to learn more about supporting their children's future employment transition.
Meet representatives from a range of organisations who offer disability-specific employment support schemes, including:
- Tottenham Hotspur Foundation
- Ambitious about Autism
- Care Trade UK
- Haringey Works
- The Harington Scheme
- Mencap
- West Lea
- & many more!
At the event, you can also explore:
- Supported internship opportunities
- Supported employment schemes, including apprenticeships
- Workplace support, including Access to Work and reasonable adjustments
- Specialist Employment support for residents with learning disabilities and/or autism
Agenda
- 12:15 PM: Doors open, and refreshments
- 12:45 PM: Presentation
- 1:15–2:30 PM: Meet with supported employment providers and partners
