This concert offers something for the new and longtime classical music fans. Based on the Camino de Santiago in Spain, this astonishing piece by Joby Talbot—composer for Sing and Sing 2—has made it a cult hit amongst choral singers, many of whom now consider it their favorite. The singers evoke the long journey of the Camino, and find incredible joy by reaching a new life at the end of that journey. This pilgrimage in composition, written in 2005, is arranged in four movements, each signifying the four main posts along the route: Roncesvalles, Burgos, León, and Santiago.
