Pat Malone Quartet

The Pat Malone Quartet, featuring Pat Malone on guitar and vocals; Jon Gagan, bass; Kevin Zoernig, keyboards; and Arnaldo Acosta, drums, has collaborated for many years, creating, as they describe it, “a magical synergy,” and tonight, they perform improvisational jazz music with a blues heart, including many of Malone’s original compositions and original music from Gagan and Zoernig. A versatile musician who plays with “pure energy,” Malone has played with Pete Christlieb (Steely Dan, Doc Severenson), Bobby Doyle (Blood, Sweat & Tears – CBS), Bill Ginn (Famous Blue Raincoat Leonard Cohen, Jennifer Warren), Eric Johnson, Lonnie Mack, Kim Stone (Spyra Gyra), Jimmy Carl Black (Frank Zappa Mothers of Invention) and many others and over the years has developed a devoted following in Chicago, Austin and Santa Fe.
