Pat Byrne at Waldo Folk!

On Wednesday, September 11th, Irish singer-songwriter Pat Byrne will be performing an intimate show from 7-9 pm in the Tap Room at Waldo Pizza!

Pat Byrne is an Irish singer-songwriter known for his gritty vocals and poignant lyrics. Originally from Ireland, Byrne has been living in Austin, Texas since 2017. This move prompted a unique combination of traditional Irish music and Austin's gritty Americana and roots rock. Pat's sophomore US release, Into the Light, has an edgier feel underscoring both emotional depth and greater confidence, while blending new influences with his rich Irish heritage. Pat has taken the US by storm, with breakout performances at the 30A Festival, SXSW, Kerrville Folk Festival, and the Americana Festival. Ear to the Ground Music stated “The overall sound draws easy comparisons to modern gritty Americana artists like David Ramirez, Ryan Adams, and Jason Isbell. Byrne deserves to be in that company with his gritty vocal and poignant lyrical style.”

The two-hour show will start at 7:00 PM and doors will open at 5:30 PM on September 11th in the Tap Room at Waldo Pizza.

Food and drink from Waldo Pizza will be available for purchase throughout the show.

Seating is first come first serve at shared tables. Please arrive early to select your seat.
