Born in Austria via a Greek woman, raised in Canada, and now based in New York City, Pat Burtscher has built a comedy career that is as international as his upbringing.
A regular at The Comedy Cellar and other cool places around New York, Pat is known for taking big, universal ideas and reducing them to something personal, unexpected, and sharply funny. His distinctive perspective has earned him critical acclaim and recognition as one of the most exciting stand-up comedians working on the international circuit today.
FROM NEW YORK CITY TO COMEDY FESTIVALS AROUND THE WORLD
Pat was a finalist in both the Seattle International Comedy Competition and the San Francisco International Comedy Competition. He was also selected for Homegrown Comics: New Faces Canada at the 2018 Just for Laughs Festival, which aired nationally in Canada on The Comedy Network.
His comedy has taken him to stages around the world, including the San Francisco Punch Line, Caroline’s on Broadway, New York Comedy Festival, Melbourne International Comedy Festival, Edinburgh Festival Fringe, Adelaide Fringe Festival, and Singapore Comedy Fringe.
Pat’s debut album, Patty Cakes, can be heard on SiriusXM, and his stand-up has been featured by Don’t Tell Comedy. He has also toured with Bert Kreischer, Brett Goldstein, Steph Tolev, and other very cool people.
